Woe
to you whose fist is fast to hurt
Swim
not in strong muscles’ delusion
Would
you not the noble words consider?
Woe
to you who burst his anger
Wallow
not in bad temper’s deception
Would
you not the noble words listen?
Strength
is not that you can hit him down
Strong
does not mean you should let her cry
Strength,
to hold back that fist
Strength,
to keep that anger in check
Utterings
of the Blessed one
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
Unfortunate
indeed was the action of that man
That
man who got for himself a garbage dump
It
had been in front of the door of the noble one
What
would you have done had you been the one?
Clenched
your fist and ready a hurt?
Ready
your anger and vent your spleen?
One
or two or one and two, that you would do
Yet
the praised one was unperturbed
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
That
day there had been no rubbish
To
the garbage dumper rasuul of Allah had gone
The
nobility of the noblest of the nobles our hearts touch
Something
is wrong, so here I am
Would
you not have been awed and stunned?
He
is my Allah, you are His Messenger
That
I confess that I have seen
The
dumper became an admirer, a lover
Such
was his love, an infectious canker
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
So
he helped with the old woman’s load
Rare
indeed was such a kind
Then
a gift she decided to give to such a noble soul
Follow
him not that one called Muhammad
His
path was rough and tough, never be deceived
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
Had
she only known, such rarity was Muhammad’s only
Her
gift will never had been given
I
am he about whom you warn
The
loveliest voice had echoed calmly
She
was astounded, astonished and dazed
There
was indeed no god but the One to whom he called
He
was indeed but a warner that had been sent
So
she said and that she believed
Such
was the man about whom I write
This
is the man about whom you should know
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
This
is the nobility about which I sing
This
is the nobility I live to praise
This
is the nobility whose love drunken me
This
is the nobility I wish to see
This
is the nobility I pray to touch
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
