Risible is the honour they
thought they gave him
The writers of that book
They had counted him among
a hundred
Yet again they counted him
among a hundred
Number one he must be
That they had ascertained
About that they had no
doubt
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
His unbent path they did
not follow
His rosy path they could
not trek
His echt path they never
ventured
Yet truth they could not obscure
The nobility of the
noblest of the nobles came to bare
That they had witnessed
and retold
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Were I to read to them
pages
If words to them I should
speak
Were I to tell them the
story of this glory
Would they dare to count
him among a hundred?
What did they know?
What have they heard?
Yet again what have they
seen?
Nothing and absolutely
nothing
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
He was a leader with
unparalleled leadership
In his friendship there
was peace and calm
In his ship none could
dare to ride
He was none like the list
of hundred
He was rasuulul Laah and
nabiyyul Laah
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Honoured above you and I
and they and them
The billions dare not
dance in his circle
For he was a man, a mercy
upon us
He was a man, awesome in
character
He was a man, full of love
He was a man, strong and
subtle in manners
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Have our wealth, be the
richest
Have our crown, be our
leader
The honourable of women,
they you can have
Take them all, they are
yours
That the Quraish had sought
to give
They did not want that
light that shines
How could they when they
were blind?
He was a man fine and
refined
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Here was the straight way
and that I show you
Nothing more nor less do I
request
The noble voice had echoed
into ears
Put the sun in my right
hand
Place the moon in my left
hand yet again
Here was the straight way
and that I show you
Nothing more nor less do I
request
Such was he who surpassed
hundreds
Count him not among them
therefore
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
This is the nobility about
which I sing
This is the nobility I
live to praise
This is the nobility whose
love drunken me
This is the nobility I
wish to see
This is the nobility I
pray to touch
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
