Will the sinner from him
not learn?
When at night he remained
standing for his Lord
She, the rosy and lovely
had been perplexed
The past is erased
The now does not count
The future has been dealt
with
So then why these swollen
feet?
Shall I not gratitude show?
For on me has mercy rained
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Behind him, he stood
bright and noble
Before him lay that man
He who passionately said
this
Yet unfortunately did he
do that
He who had deemed it fit
to swim in his pool
The pool of the rasuul of
Allah
For with his equality he
thought he could vie
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Such was the man, Abdullah
ibn Ubayy ibn Salul
He who traded honour for a
title so bad
The chief of hypocrites,
he had been known
Yet for him the Praised One
prayed
His lover said no again
and again
The nobility of the
noblest of the nobles shone again
Istigfaar seventy times
and more, that I shall do
To save this soul and so
many like it
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
In his bosom the enemy
find comfort
In his speech the wise
find wisdom
In his behaviour the pious
learn lessons
On his path the guided
keep focused
He was loved deeply and
truly too
He is loved with untainted
passion
He will be loved forever
and ever too
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
Give me my hand so I could
write this man
Give me my feet so I could
walk this man
Give me my eyes so I could
see this man
Give me my voice so I
could talk this man
This man whose character
was the Book
This man who stood strong
and tall
Among the men of old and the
new too
Salaam and Rahma upon him
should rain
This
is the nobility about which I sing
This
is the nobility I live to praise
This
is the nobility whose love drunken me
This
is the nobility I wish to see
This
is the nobility I pray to touch
Salaam
and Rahma upon him should rain
